Holidays take enough stress when you are planning, so to avoid any stress while you are on holiday, make sure that you get travel insurance. However, there are those that don’t even bother with Travel insurance? Although not really considered by many, Travel Insurance is extremely important.

If you don’t have this insurance, you and your belongings aren’t easily replaceable, unless you have plenty of money. The problem is that, with many young people, including me at one point is that with our youth comes the feeling of invulnerability. The thrill of a holiday can sometimes cast a cloud over young people’s eyes, and they don’t really think about what they are getting themselves into.

Lets take a moment to think of ourselves on a holiday without travel insurance. You decide to go for a hike through some woods with friends, and slip down a steep slope and injure yourself. Hospital expenses cost a dramatically large amount of money, so if you have no insurance, you need to cover it yourself. To make it clear, the minimum travel insurance cover offers around 2,000,000 dollars (1,222,000 GBP).

Now, we are supposed to enjoy our holidays, but sometimes holidays that are high enjoyment involve high risk. The holidays on the rise around this time of year, are Christmas holidays, which probably means skiing holidays. I cant even begin to explain how dangerous Skiing can actually be, just be sure to grab some much needed travel insurance, and get a qualified trainer. Although this has been a bit doom and gloom, it is to say that Travel insurance, no matter how much it costs (average = £15), so when you think about it, £15 is a lot less than 2 million.

Offers are arising with St Lucia holidays and Barbados holidays this Christmas, and some packages also include travel insurance.

Where do you want to go for your Christmas holiday? Two of the holidays that have really done well this year are really standing out among the rest of them. Most people believe that Skiing holidays are the most popular over Christmas; however this isnt quite as popular as you think it will be. Skiing doesn’t just happen at Christmas time, people can go skiing at almost any time of the year. Skiing can now even take place mid summer, some places in the world have the ability to keep the snow on the ground.

Remember that we are talking about luxury Christmas holidays as well. Although Skiing holidays are considered to be quite luxurious, they pale in comparison to these two. Whats strange for Christmas time is that these two holidays are in the Caribbean, one of the hottest locations in the world.

St Lucia holidays are on the rise this Christmas, and so much so that flights have almost been completely consumed already. luxury Christmas holidays are the best option to look for now, they offer some of the best possible holiday packages. But the advantage of this is that there are some truly amazing offers available. The weather in St Lucia is going to be very warm this December as well, with only a small amount of rain.

Barbados holidays provide anyone visiting this Christmas with a vibrant and exciting Christmas holiday. Barbados is definitely for the people who enjoy a good time out, enjoying the social life. There is no opportunity to get bored, there is so much to do. The locals are great at keeping people entertained, and if you head out at the night time, you will enjoy a vast array of night clubs and bars. The culture in Barbados is very striking, and Christmas is very much a celebrated time of year. You can even find a holiday in Barbados, a full package deal for less than a thousand pounds.

Some people will actually book a holiday, and not research what you can do. Sri Lanka is a forest land covered in greenery and a few villages, littered with several religions and different beliefs. This already makes it an intriguing country, but what does have to offer the average tourist?

Maybe you have been thinking about a holiday to Sri Lanka, you will be completely awe struck by the luxury holidays available. Sri Lanka’s resorts are luxurious, there is no other way to put it. Sri Lanka is world renowned for some of the Spa techniques that the resorts use. This is making Sri Lanka, and places like Thailand very popular places to enjoy a spa holiday.

Other than the spa treatments on offer, Sri Lanka also supplies tourists with the option to embark on some inspirational adventures. There is a very famous mountain in Sri Lanka called Sri Pada, also known as Adams peak. Christians and Muslims believe that Adam first set foot on this mountain when he was cast out of the Garden of Eden, this is also the place that was originally believed to be the Garden of Eden. There are many hiking options open to you, climbing this monstrous seven thousand foot tall mountain is one of them, but should not be tried between June and November, because of the rainy season.

Sri Lanka even has Safaris available, tour guides would be more than happy to take you out into the rain forest or, if you feel up to it a walk up the mountains. There are now many different tours, exploring caves or travelling to an elephant orphanage. You can even scour some of the mountains to se if you can uncover any of the famous gems that cover Sri Lankas country side like sapphires or rubies.

Maldives holidays, Sri Lanka holidays and Dubai holidays are increasingly becoming the first choice of holiday by any tourist, most of this is due to prices and the more common knowledge of these fantastical places.

I have just arrived back from my holiday to the Maldives, It was probably the best holiday ever. I wanted to find out which resort is the best in the Maldives, so i researched quite thoroughly, after my holiday i thought you may want to know the top 3. I had narrowed the options down to three resorts, and thought I could make things easier for you.

In Huvahendoo is the Lily Beach Resort and Spa. It was clearly a hotel built for the royalty of the world. On a small island there isnt much to do other than relax and get seriously pampered. This is a very expensive holiday, but every penny is worth it, this is where you come to feel like royalty. If you want to go and learn how to dive, then this hotel is great. If you like to keep busy, even though you are on a luxury spa holiday, then you should come here, they even have a sports complex.

Next up is the Diva Island Resort. This hotel even supplies you with your own little villa complex including a pool, the service is unbelievable. This is one of the contestants for top hotels in the world, the hotel is of fantastic luxurious quality. You won’t find it hard to find a small private spot on the beach to chill, the beach runs for miles all the way around. This is like taking a vacation in heaven, the sand is pure white and the sea is crystal blue. This resort is also a little cheaper than the Lily Beach.

Next is my favourite the Baros Maldives Hotel. This island stands out apart from the others, because it has a forest in the centre of it, but the beaches are just as nice as the others. This although may not be quite so expensive, the accommodation is just as good. The staff are extremely friendly, and I had a great time at the luxury spa and doing some diving. As i was looking round the island i found out that a biologist lived here and she took me Scuba diving. Anyone interested in Big Game fishing? There is great sea life here, swimming with Whale sharks is a must do. If you have ever fancied doing it, there is a chance to go sailing on a Catamaran.

So I would recommend one of these for Maldives holidays, but if youre looking for a similar yet not as expensive holiday, try Sri Lanka holidays, they are just as luxurious, and known for their spa treatments! For holidays of truly major expense, you should go for Dubai holidays, the holidays of kings.

When I was travelling around the world, I saved the majority of my money for a final stop and a holiday location. This was going to be a holiday that I could just relax on rather than working while I travelled. I had managed to save enough to spend my last destination in Dubai. After working so much i had just about saved the amount that i needed to.

So here I was in Dubai, but nowhere to stay, probably not the best thing in the world. I travelled down Sheikh Zayed road, finding only hotels that would cost about 200 pounds a night at the least. This I couldnt really afford, so I scoured the rest of the city in search of something a little more in my price range. Although I really wanted to stay at the Burj Al Arab, this really wasn’t suitable, then I located one that was just right. There was a gorgeous hotel called the Copthorne, and it was a fours star beauty.

I couldn’t believe how amazing this place was. It only cost 80 dollars a night, which meant I could stay for about a week. I investigated everything I could possibly visit. I went to the Palm Jumeira landscape, it looks fantastic. Then there was the Burj Al Arab, what an iconic piece of engineering. Unfortunately I could not enter, apparently the food and drink costs more than my room does for the week.

The food was spectacular and I have been to the likes of Thailand, Sri Lanka, Italy and Florida, Dubai offered by far the best cuisine. I plan on going back on Dubai holidays more often, Maldives holidays and Sri Lanka holidays will be the next on the list. These are the holidays that I recommend to you, they are by far the best in the world (in my opinion).

Many motorists are complaining that car parking spaces aren’t big enough. Is this really the cause of the problem or is the issue really that people are driving increasingly large vehicles?

The largest operator of public car parks in the United Kingdom, Park Rite, say that the dimensions of parking spaces need to relate to the vehicles that the space is intended for. The current standard suggests that bays are 2.4m wide by 4.8m long. But many of todays popular cars, especially four wheel drive and people carriers, will only just fit into this space leaving no room for doors to be opened easily.

There have been reports that some car park operators have purposely made some of their parking spaces narrower in order to squeeze more vehicles into their car parks. Some of the worst offenders are reported to be certain hospital car parks, some supermarkets and some long-stay airport parking lots. There have been reports, from some long stay airport car parks , of people unable to open their doors due to adjacent vehicles being parked too close.

Is the problem due to the size of parking spaces or is it due to the increasing size of popular vehicles? A common and popular 4 wheel drive vehicle is the Toyota Rav4. This vehicle has a width of 1.815m, not including its mirrors. If we allow around 35cm for the wing mirrors this brings the width up to 1.85m. In a parking space of 2.4m in width which would leave only 0.55m or only 0.275m each side. This leaves very little space for getting into and out of the vehicle.

Narrow parking spaces present a particular problem for many vehicles that have long side doors, as do many 3 door models. The popular Renault Clio 3 Door, with its mirrors, is 2.025m. In a 2.4m parking space this would leave only 0.375m or about 0.19m on each side for opening the doors and getting into and out of the car.

It looks like the problem is really down to the size of the cars that people are driving so perhaps car park operators need to take this into account when marking out their parking bays.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Top Tip: Make the most of your trip by spending a night in an airport hotel before your flight. And why not enjoy the hospitality of an airport lounge before you fly.

Holidays are a huge part of society as we know it, if people do not go away on holiday they start to get very stressed and wound up. But what type of holiday is your best choice; lets take a look at the positive sides of a few different holidays.

Beach Holidays

In all likelihood the most common type of vacation particularly for families, what is better than after a nerve-wracking year to go abroad and then relax in a hot country laying down on the white sands while the kids run around.

Backpacking Trips

These are ordinarily more targeted towards the young adventurers who have just finished university and want to journey around the globe before they begin full time employment. These are utterly great adventures and something that will forever be remembered by the individual.

Safari Trips

If you are into wild life then this is an absolute must, you cannot beat a good old Safari trip, some of the scenery is absolutely amazing and if you are a keen photographer then you should definitely bring your camera along with you.

Spa Breaks

If you are looking for the best relaxation break then a spa break has to be your best choice. Pamper yourself to a full facial therapy, body massage and great fitness programmes all in the natural way.

Caravan Breaks

Probably more targeted at the older generation caravan breaks are a great get away. Most caravan parks have numerous different nature walks that you can go on, as well as this a lot of them have on site facilities such as bars, swimming pools and restaurants.

These days there are so many holidays to choose from, so maybe the best option would be to go on a different one every year and not just stick to the same kind of holiday constantly.

For great Caribbean spa holidays. spa hotels can help your mind, body and soul.

Chessington’s theme park in Surrey UK, has announced that almost 50 people had to be recued from a Safari Skyride on Saturday evening, due to an electrical fault. The electrical company EDF has said that various thousands of masses in the area lost their electrical energy after a cable break.

The power cut mainly affected the Safari Skyride, which actually travels on top of the park and shows visitors the sites. But if the ride stops it can be quite unsafe and it could be stuck over a lion cage or anything of this sort. Although it was Chessingtons busiest period of the year, as the summer holidays where out, they still had to close the theme park due to safety. Could you comprehend it if you were on a roller coaster and it got stuck upside down.

To be fair, I have just returned from a great safari trip and it was genuinely awesome. I have visited numerous zoos around the UK, but nothing can really match the African adventure that I have recently been on. I see a lot of people forking out money on trying to get that feeling in the UK, but its simply not going to happen. Instead save up your money and spend it on going to a great African holiday. The wildlife you get to meet is truly amazing, but besides from that you also get to take some great close up shots.

I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to go on a safari that it is absolutely the best possible option, you will get to relax and unwind and come back feeling like a million dollar, and its something you will truly cherish.

It is literally quite amazing to think that the summer is nearly over, I mean we havent really experience hardly any sunshine. From what I can recall, we have really only had a week or so of good solid sunshine, but people are starting to get quite nervous. They are getting nervous simply because of the fact that a lot of people love the summer and do not want to look ahead to the cold wintertime months.

So this being said I in person think that now is the best potential time to try and snap up your self a last minute Safari deal. I have personally just returned from a Safari trip, I booked this on a last minute whim, but all I can say is that I now feel so much more relaxed.

A lot of people tend to have the wrong perception about safaris; they think its something that is strenuous and something that will take a lot of effort. So they alternatively take the chance to go to a beach resort where they merely lay in the sunshine.

I can tell you now that if you think of a safari in this way, then you are well and truly wrong. When I went on my Safari, it was non stop, there was just so much happening. Obviously there was a bit of walking, but you dont even know that youre doing it because of the beautiful wild life around.

But yet again there is so much more to do then enjoy the great wild life. You can go and get pampered in numerous natural spas that are around, but besides from this you can also make your way to the beach and Africa has some mind blowing beaches with great white sand beaches and cool waters.

We are now moving well towards the autumn season, but where has the summer dissapeared too? Well to be fair there hasnt genuinely been one this year, we had a bout of sunshine in June and one more in July and that was about it. Some people have woke up this month and thought to themselves where has the vacation time of year actually gone? Personally to me it seems as though it was never here in the first place. But there is no need to feel too dissappointed as there are numerous other holiday seasons around the corner, so lets take a look at a few.

Christmas Holidays

Probably the biggest one has to be the New year hotels; most people get up to two weeks off of work as well as schools getting the time off. Although it may in all likelihood be very cold at that time of year, the festive season and decorations outside will make this a groovy time of year to remember.

Halloween and Bonfire Night

There is something magical about these special occasions and it also gives people a lot of time to relax and unwind as the kids are usually off for the half terms breaks, why not take them out to a theme park before they close.

New Year

Although not as important as Christmas, New Year signals a great start and a fresh chapter in your life. So hopefully you will be able to look forward to the next summer holiday season and will be able to forget the bad one that just passed you by this year.

Also dont forget the numerous long weekends and bank holidays that you will get.

For the ultimate Family Holidays and Dancing Holidays
